PRACTITIONER
Meet Lisa Dauphinais Practitioner:
Background, Philosophy and Education.
The most important element during my sessions is that you will be treated as an entire whole...as an entire being. The art of an osteopath is having the profound capacity to listen to your life force express how you want to unwind, whether that be physically, emotionally, energetically, and spiritually. Sometimes the lesion that is dimming your vitality is in a bone, muscles, cranium, visceral organs, your energetic field, etc. Your being carries the greater wisdom of know-how to return to health, vitality, and alignment. Osteopaths will follow that force and just know where you need to unwind in order to express your full potential of vitality.

WHAT IS OSTEOPATHY
Meet Andrew Taylor Still D.O.: Founder of Osteopathy, 1894, Kirksville, MO.
Founded in the United States in 1874 by Andrew Taylor Still, a physician and surgeon, Osteopathy is a recognized manual therapy that aims to find and treat the causes of pain and dysfunction of the body by means of musculoskeletal, vertebral, visceral, endocrine, nervous, and cranial manipulations. It is mainly based on the integrity of the structure and function of the body as a whole. Osteopathy is a manual therapy based on precise palpatory acts. This science is based on a thorough knowledge of anatomy and physiology. By giving back to all the structures (bones, muscles, fascias, organs, etc.) their capacity of movement, the body again finds its harmony and its capacity of self-regulation. I will work with your doctor or other health professional involved in your care. This approach can, therefore, serve you whatever your age, occupation and symptoms.
